Ah, thanks for the heads-up.

I probably won't edit the review, since I penned it 12-odd years ago, and it's a time-capsule of my thoughts and writing then. Not that my overall opinion of the movie would change today; I've always hated cheap, stupid emotional manipulation, and have even less patience for it now.

I mean, i really cant argue cause ive never understood the criticisms of rushed or slow pacing to begin with.

Whats so bad about the pacing?

Ill admit i was a bit taken aback by your dorohedoro review, as i thought the pacing was perfect. It created a flow that allowed the sequence of events to feel natural and allocated the manga events appropriately for each episode and i thought it lingered on the backgrounds just enough to get a sense of the vibe and nature with its detail without an overindulgence that would drag and without purpose.
