Thank you so much for the wonderful manga recommendations! God of Bath was hilarious and a wild ride. You were right that the art is a bit clunky, but I agree that it compliments the story as a comic aid! I'm pretty sure it was done on purpose.
Thank you for also kicking my ass so I can finally start Dungeon Meshi. XD It's been on my PTR for years and I kept telling myself: "Damn, you'd love that manga, but maybe you should wait for it to finish" and then...it never ended. I'm not up to date yet, but it's super fun and somewhat relaxing. Am I weird for thinking that? :'D
I haven't tried Thermae Romae yet because I want to try to get up to date with Dungeon Meshi first, but it's taking a while. Those volumes are way longer to read than I thought! However, I'm sure I'm gonna like Thermae Romae too~ Now I have to ask, why is there a bath theme?
Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is in the same boat as Dungeon Meshi. T^T I'm a huge fan of the anime so I should really pick this up again and get up to date!
Your gifts made me really happy, thank you again!. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!
Nah..I'll try to squeeze few 10 hours sleep per week here and there finally instead.
Eat..worship the sky for it to not be foggy for the ucoming final days of the year and then maybe getting thanks for gifts I didn't pick but gave money for so they could select them themselves (if they even want something - lol).I mean..i don't really celebrate xmas much for over decade or so - this kind of holiday is more of ''rise morale thingy'' anyway..so we actually feel like a human and that we shouldn't forget it.New Year..probably go out in nearby park for 20-30 mins and then get back (the Eve itself is just small drinking - enough to get relaxing flasbacks once I try to look back on the previous New Year's Eve..since the one before it I tend to just forgot as whole xD
From the ones that are about to end : TONIKAWA,Golden Kamuy 3rd cour,Majo no Tabitabi,Moriarty,HQ!! 7th cour,Idolish7 S2,Tian Guan Ci Fu.
Well..Christmas? - nah,New Years Eve? - most likely ..xD
you?
Lodoss,yes..that now feels like a distant past lol...with how the high amount of seasonals we go this autumn.
I see...well,I rewatched xxxHoLiC once..it gave that late summer vibe to me that time.

Well, from what I wanted to read and so on I already did..though I started read Petshop of Horrors since I did watch the ''promo'' anime that had only 4 eps but loved the premise,MC,oldschool feel/fantasy like writting and 90s shoujo like art with the tragedy like endings for the characters that were only for that given episode. It's kinda like xxxHoLiC I guess but it resolves around ''animals'' instead of spirits itself and such.
With animes, apart from following most of the seasons,I decided to give a go the original Lodoss from early 90s and it was pretty good despite it being storyboard for 13 eps only..I mean some of the missing plot progress details and so on you need to think up yourself + the MADHOUSE retro art is just so appealing lol.Aparently the TV series sequel should have some small alternations connected to the past events of the first Lodoss itself so I'll see how it works out, with some new characters and being all non-violent and way too simplistic and kids friendly while being kept dark, kinda like gegege kitarou I guess?
I see...Iron-Blooded Orphans was unexpected hit since it wanted it was betting to let wider spectrum of ppl to relate to its characters/settings,being it both female/male friendly with the audience it was directer for...so pretty much more of ''unis*x'' in this case xD
Ye..Tower of God gets better and the twists and what led to them or whats going on in the tower itself slowly starts to be more understandable and enjoyable..with some few characters being the wildcard that carries the series.I mean the power levels can be confusing or rather hard to accept because of the uneven odds most of the time, for MC to just get stronger as fast as possible while being forced to make some questionale decision in the story to go forward which leads to the fate (or fated enemies) to always be step ahead of him while he himself somehow manages to get to go like three steps at a time to give the pivotal advantage of the situation for limited amount of time...if that isn't just one of many things how to interpret my maybe biased view on it.I think I can wait but if it becomes another xxxHoLiC Rei manga then I dunno what went wrong in this timeline.
I see..sounds reasonable enough I guess.
I'm mostly caught up with every manga and anime.Though I finaly managed to go into the ''ZZ'' Gundam..since its producer did some nice stuff over the years and started the ''Iron-Blooded Orphans'' I guess. It takes like 20 episodes to get into it..since it's old, along with its character traits and how they're used. Then theres Tower of God I read here and there to catch up with..taking my time with with since the author is going to have possibly the longest hiatus yet and may never come back if he doesn't get well soon properly, which would be shame.
