Well, I'm probably the most biased person to ask. I really enjoyed Soul Eater, I think it has really good world building, character development, an excellent soundtrack and a very interesting art style. The concept is very cool too. However, because the anime is only partially adapted from the manga, the plot in the last few arcs is a little all-over-the-place and isn't well-liked. Overall, I would recommend you watch the first three episodes (the prologue arcs), and if you're not too keen on the concept/world, i'd recommend dropping it.
On the other hand, do you have any recommendations?
