Oh yea, recently watched original FLCL. Enjoyed it a lot and remember thinking it had a Cody vibe that I think you'd like. Unless you've changed some?

I don't actually know what my favorites are now that i think about it. I've always said Steins:Gate was one of them. I'd have to rewatch it though to see how it stands up. Plus ive not seen its sequel yet. I havent watched much attack on titan for some reason. I remember watching S2 and just stopped some part way through.

I remember Black Lagoon leaving a very good impression on me.

I've watched all of One Piece since college now too, and feel its up there. Also watched most of the Gundam main story and some side stories with good ratings on a random whim.

Newer stuff the only thing that immediately comes to mind is Oshi no Ko. Def really good. Episode 1 is a movie and starts pretty weaby so u gotta endure first little bit.

Honestly though I would have to go back and rewatch a lot of things with a 'favorites' mind set to be fair.

aw shiet u prolly know them already. dont think ive seen anything made in the past few years that tops the ones weve talked about already
