To anyone who thinks ratings are high, please note

One of the first jobs of any author on any medium is to convey their target audience.
In other words, Ratings average around 7 because most works succeed in conveying their target audience early on. And nearly no-one rates a series when they drop it before the first episode ends.
Ratings below 5 indicate the creators failed to convey their target audience, attracted an audience that wouldn't like the story or style, and then suffered the results.

My Ratings are based on personal preferences. Naturally, my preferences also gauge how well I believe it was executed, who the hell gives a show a personal score of 10 when they liked the story, but thought the art, soundtrack, animation, and VA all sucked? There is no such thing as an objective rating anyways, its all subjective in the end. Might as well just rate based on your preferences instead of some imaginary "objective" preference.

Also, rating it this way makes my recommendation generators give better results
