Most of the time, those are the ones that I write. Well, they come out the best, because I have spent a lot of time exploring those topics, so know the types of plot twists that they should take haha if you know what I mean?
Crime and mystery are magnificent, one of my particular favorite authors for that is James Patterson, with his Alex cross novels, with the author who wrote the “Girl with the dragon tattoo” (don’t remember his name) series (three books)
Po was a very interesting person, in my opinion…sort of creepy, similar to Stephen King (My favorite horror writer) but in the genre of poetry. I’m not too big on poetry though, so haven’t really put much effort in to reading his works…sadly.
I have not found a book that I can truly call a perfect fit, there is a few though that comes close. Brent weaks “night angel trilogy,” “The lord of the rings” by J.R.R. Tolkien, and “The wheel of time,” by Robert Jordan (14 books 11 of which were written by the now past Jordan, last 3 written by Brandon Sanderson, author of the mist born trilogy (also amazing) on request of both Jordan’s wife, and publisher) are three series that touched me personally…though, as I said earlier, there are so many good books out there it is difficult to narrow it down to just one specific title…
Ah, you have visited my home state of Tennessee! Currently though, I am pushed over on the west coast in Nevada. Someday, I plan to go to England…I have some friends who live there, (York, and over in new castle) there is so much historical value there…and I love history!
Finally, someone who understands exactly where I am coming from. I shall try to ask as many questions, and keep listening! ~ It is fun to give people the opportunity to just talk about themselves; after all, it seems to me that most, (if not all) people do not have that chance very often.
Exactly, and then you have all of the side categories with in those, such as in anime’s case you have Shonen, slice of life, romance, harem, etc.
It is a sad fact, but in America it seems that only one out of a hundred individuals likes to learn, and only one out of three hundred attempts to educate them. I hear that there are ignorant, lazy, and or often time’s unmotivated people all over the world, but my plans involve me either a) moving to a place out of country to get away from those who are closed minded, or B) traveling for a while before settling back down. If I take option B) then it might open my eyes to new ideas, and help me better appreciate my country…
Ah, rain is nice from time to time…during the summers; here in Nevada (West coast of the United States) we mostly get scorching hot days, and an occasional thunderstorm…
I too, am a flitting reader. I love reading, and will practically push through anything recommended to myself. Though, I most prefer serious, and or long books, such as five hundred pages or more. The genres that I mostly read are those of fantasy, science fiction, and horror. If I may inquire to your favorite authors, and or titles of books? For me, this would be difficult, due to it changing on regular bases; however I think I could eventually narrow it down…haha
The east coast of the States eh? Did you like it? Which states did you go to? Is it substantially different then England?
Yes, it is good to interact and socialize with those of common interests, but for some reason, (Well, not really I can tell why) people find me sort of annoying. I ask too many questions. As an aspiring author, I tend to frequently ask the five W’s: Who, what, where, when, and why. This gets on peoples nerves, but I can’t help it. New people are just fascinating, not just that but I like to hear about their experiences. One thing I pride myself on is listening, which is a good tool in my opinion… English Literature is fantastic as a degree!
I find it exactly the same way. It is one reason why I love it so much, there are things for everyone, and even within the culture, there are subcategories. There are always new things to discover, and enjoy no matter which way you turn…it is amazing! Though, I might just think this because I love to learn: O
I hear that it is always raining there, is that true?
You like to read, write, and travel? What do you like to read, write, and where have you traveled to? most interesting things you have seen on your travels? :O
Sorry for the questions...I just get so curious :O
My hobbies include reading, and writing...besides the anime haha :D
