Welcome to MAL, enjoy your stay.

Yeah, like you need something relaxing, enjoyable and funny after something that screwed up your mind...xD
I know..I do almost the same thing here.

Well, if you like shounen, I will recommend you to watch it. The art may be poor at start but the more the story progress, the art starts improving a lot too.
I too am a HQ freak like you but I had to learn that some older anime ARE way better than newer one. Ignoring them means you're missing something huge. :P

I see. Of course a good story plot is important.
Here I watch practically every anime genres with the exception of yaoi and boys love. Less of horror and psychological.
Most favorited are Shounen, Comedy and Ecchi. :D
One Piece, Gintama, Fairy Tail are some of my most fav anime. ^ ^

Exactly.
When I started the anime, I could get into it. Maybe the graphic bugged me since I was used to newer one. But the more I watched the more I became attached to it.

So what are your favorite anime genres ?
seanval411 Oct 15, 2011 2:51 AM
only Kishi knows. :P Check out the different theories and make your own conclusion based on that.

"Well if you think an 18 year old girl that already have a published work and someone who can actually hack into one of the most advanced facilities in the world ALONE and with only a PC not smart enough fine, you win."

That is what I meant with off screen.

"you please give me another ending in which it would have ended perfectly?"

The Noein ending.
Deactivated101 Oct 14, 2011 11:34 PM
"Yup there is, specially the retard part."
A nice thing to edit in your review.

"the others were just simply naive and have a side effect of being too smart"

Off screen, nobody was actually a genious. Or do you think Okabe showed that many scenes where he is a mastermind?

"I didn't watch Kaiji yet, why? Because its art is unappealing."

And I was talking about thriller.

"Anyways you compel me to watch Kaiji and hope to change my views regarding perfection in the said genre."

One episode is enough to realize it.

"a show must be appealing and seemingly unique to pique my taste"

Superficial are we?

"I wan't something extraordinary, free from life's morale and whatsoever."

Oh, you prefer escapism shows over maturity and proper use of its in-laws. Ok then, I see why you prefer S;G for having plot holes and a magic reset spam for a forced perfect happy ending.

Regarding your S;G review.

"No stupid cliches, nothing overdone, no psychos and retards(Moeka is debatable)as most of their actions are justified and are perfect image of human nature-in anime world."

I disagree, there were lots of cliches and retards in it. Or did you forget the TUTURUUU girl, or the constant nyaaa and otaku jokes?

"perfection in the sci-fi and thriller genre"

This is where I disagree again. The sci-fi part is far from perfect and even has plot holes in the end. As for the thriller part, a singe episode of Kaiji has more thrilling atmosphere than this whole show together.

"it's a one of a kind"

This is a very unfair remark since there are at least 20 more recent shows regarding time travel and dimensions. Noein for example is a show with the same premise and without any plot holes, convinient time alterations, or otaku stereotypes. I highly recommend it as a better variant over S;G.
