Yea I really like those aspects about it too. I have just spent the past two days logging 700+ anime I have watched from the past 6 years since I never made an account. I think with Clannad after story because Kyoto animation made it the animators there are really good at expressing facial expressions and have a lot more focus on the music composition in comparison to some other studios. And it really helps elevate the feeling within it. I love a lot of Kyoto animations other works as well.

It really is a unique show considering you have to watch an entire season of the original Clannad to see his life slowly erode.
