Yes, I read about this part of the Constitution. Maybe the 'proxy candidate' would chose her as Prime Minister once elected.
Yeah, she seemt to avoid the subject, which is I thing I can understand. How does it work, about the army? In my country, the president is leader of the army, so I'm not sure to understand how could the army be leader without president as its head. It's more about generals' reactions, maybe?

I see, they don't accept different beliefs. I read they only accepted those they deemed 'Burmese' and others would be rejected. Rohingayas are apparently qualified as the "World most repressed ethny". Do you think things will change about this, if Aung San Suu Kyi can be elected? She opposes the government, but it seems to be more about freedom than ethnies, from what I could read.

I did read few articles on the subject, but I didn't know the whole story. I understand it could create a gap between those people, through generalizations, but what they have to live is too much =/
