I started to seriously watch anime after watching trigun. It was after that I wanted to see what else anime had to offer and so I watched gurren laggan (spelling?) and from there on I never stopped. My fave genre in anime is romance, I have little to no interest in anime without a love story, I dont really know why that is. Also, my favorite combo is romance and action, but Clannad showed me that you can take a slice of life and make it so very, very good. DBZ is my all time favorite because it is my very first anime I ever watched (I first started watching it in third grade) although I didn't realize what anime was till many years later. Anyway it is my all time favorite because whenever I watch it, I have the most fun watching it, the completely over dramatic scenes, the use of nonsensical humor, and the dragging out of some episodes. For me, to watch this with someone else, it is unequaled in the laughs and entertainment I get out of it. I must mention one anime that I thought was really good. Kaze no stigma was one anime which I had no idea what to do with, it completely changed my outlook on anime, because for the first time (except trigun and DBZ) I watched an anime where I had no instances where I was annoyed. Most animes annoy me because of the use of humor does not make me laugh or the use of misunderstandings to tell a story (I REALLY dislike it when misunderstandings become a basis for humor and storyline) but Kaze no stigma found a way to make it all funny and entertaining for me.

I am a college student and I watch anime in my spare time. I have no regrets about using my spare time to watch anime, after all, it was because of anime that I began to enjoy reading. (strange, I know)
