I'm 23 and I study Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision, being enrolled in a master's degree. My hobbies are reading novels and learning interesting stuff.
Feel free to ask questions about anything in this world ^_^
Jeez, that's some hardcore dedication. Pretty impressive! This sounds amazing. I'm not even sure if we have something like that here, but it sounds really practical. Knowing you though, you'll probably get your work experience soon enough :)
Oh no, I definitely do get why they appeal to other people. But honestly I'd rather not put out the effort to figure out what is filler and what is not, it's a lot faster just to watch something that i know has content from end to end. You can probably guess too, I prefer shows with stronger storylines - shounens tend to ramble around a bit more.
ah, that's more along the engineering/computer science side. i'm more on the planning side. i leave that stuff to the smart people aka the engineers :P
Interesting. Just curious, are you still gathering topics to choose a thesis, or do you already have a thesis chosen? Just curious to see how far you've gotten along with it. And jeez, you really sound like you have your hands full. Which is good, in my opinion! Beats sitting around and being a bum all day. It's probably been at least three or four years since all I did was bum around all day, haha.
If the answer you anticipated was "no", then you're correct :P long-running shounens don't exactly appeal to me for a couple of reasons. First, these shows tend to have a lot of filler episodes, which are a waste of time to me. Second, I like completing shows and then moving on to something new, but with long-running shows like One Piece, I can't really do that. And finally, shounen is one of my less preferred genres. I don't hate it, I'll still watch shounens - but the writing in a lot of shounen shows tend to be pretty sloppy and centered more on action, rather than a cohesive plot as a whole.
Nope, not in finance. I do work in an office, it's hard to describe what I do but basically it's a mix of traffic management/urban planning/transportation. I basically analyze the way people get around a city and try to think of ways to connect people to their destinations.
That's great! Yes, I think working under others starting off is a great way to gain good experience, and it's also a great way to build up mentor-mentee relationships. Sounds like you have a lot you want to do, haha, might not be a bad idea to prioritize the ones you really want to do.
Yeah, I know. I guess it's partially a bad habit, or maybe not. Even crappy shows have at least something that's redeeming... like you can have a really crappy plot but gorgeous visuals that you want to stare at all day, you know? I've been thinking about branching out honestly, but with real life getting in the way, I keep pushing it onto the back burner. I guess it's also partially me being lazy too, when I get home after a long day at work, I just want to relax with the least amount of effort LOL
omg hello!! yes, it's been a really long time!! no, i still remember you! ... but not any specific conversation.
Yay, I'm glad to hear! Any ideas on your plans after university?
As for me, I'm working full time right now, so I don't have as much time to watch anime as before. But I still try to watch, especially on the weekends, when I have more time. Still watching crappy shows but you know what else is new ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hey, Happy New Year! Still barely hanging on, even with break and the holidays I've been busy just like before. Classes going well for you, hopefully? Trying my best to reply to everyone but you know me... can't reply thaaaat fast...
Hey! I just heard about the third season coming out today. I really should get around to watching it, since it's a 'classic' as declared by most people. Unfortunately my PTW is kind of long right now so it's going to have to wait for a bit :(

Why haven't you had as much time to read?

Everything's excellent, actually, next term is about to start for me.
