I get the hate for Darling in the franxx, and I actually strongly agree with your statement that the characters aren't utilized very well, but I disagree on the part where you said it had bad world-building because I think that's at least one of the areas that it got right (to some extent).
But anyways I see that you didn't like Uzaki-chan as well, and let me tell you that anime is overrated af, so good for you for dropping it.
