I love Matsumoto Taiyou's artwork! I've seen some here and there, definitely will read a bunch of his titles this year.
That's great! I've heard good things about that manhwa. I have no prior experience in reading webtoons, but It's not something that appeals to me. But I have a lot on my list I'd like to check out and see for myself.
I definitely will let you know once I get to reading more of his works!
Also looking into Maruo Suehiro's work a bit in between. I've finished a short story collection, as well as a one chap by him. [DDT] [The Dancing Dwarf]
Of course! That's cool nonetheless. My favorite character is Manji, he's tough but has a soft spot for his substitute sister lololol. Eminently, I prefer manga. So I rarely go and watch the anime counterpart of something I completed, unless it really resonated with me. NGE is one I for sure will watch. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Hey! I noticed it's my first time commenting on your profile. I hope everything is well with you. Is anything interesting going on? Have you read anything? I've just finished reading all four physical omnibuses of Blade of the Immortal that I own. As far as samurai manga goes, it's a goldie!
Ahh, I understand. one of my friends also experienced something similar, well since it's still not available in various countries, —
Glad to hear it, good things if you're interested to watching it :>
yuhh! nb; I ranked each genre I explored to be 'fair'. whether it's from a light or heavy anime aspect which i enjoying it..
uhmm interesting ..! maybe I'll try next time & ohh wow "dramatic elements (mourning, guilt, family ties etc.) in a very balanced way." ; i like this one too
K! & NY
for both^ on my perspective its very calming and underrated ig. that's why it making blow mind. like man, iyashikei?? this serial is cup of my tea haha as above, i liked everything genre so far :> & need to dig deeper some worth anime xD.
well, I don't mind about graphics. because for some reason it would be unfair to compare anime that appeared in this era .
Great picks as well! Despite being a little busy this week, I finally got the time yesterday to listen to some Colin Stetson and Joshua Redman, I wasn't familiar with them.
Colin Stetson has such a unique individual style, doesn't he? It seems almost like his music is paradoxical. Definitely a great recommendation, listening to it made my day!
I can't believe I never knew about Joshua Redman, probably because I'm used to sticking with old stuff. Nonetheless, he possesses impeccable technique, a blessing to the ears.
It's great to be introduced to such talented musicians—thank you! If you have more recommendations I'm all ears.
It's true! Misa and Yang are such unique characters, and I love how they are handled throughout their respective series. Playing the saxophone has been a tough challenge for me as well; I've been at it for almost two years. It really is a hard instrument to fully master!
My favorite saxophonists are Rao Kyao (he's more of a flute player, but when he touches the sax, he's really something else—he fuses our traditional Portuguese folklore music and fado with jazz. I'll leave one of my favorites from him here: https://youtu.be/gjC0Ns4-EL8?si=GoHF3mxMFRxZduVS), Johnny Griffin, Wayne Shorter, and John Coltrane.

I'm well myself, have you found the time to read some alt manga?
I'm more than halfway done reading Blade of the Immortal. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
