(Hmm... I used to be, like, OBSESSED with Pokemon when I was 6-10... But I don't know if that counts xD)
In a word, early-mid autumn 2009.
With details~
Iin September 2009, I saw an AMV with Shugo Chara my friend made and told her that even though I don't watch anime so I didn't really get the concept, I still liked it, and she told me I should start watching that anime because it was "awesome".
So after a research for a good site with anime episodes (OH ANIMECRAZY.NET, ANIMESEASON.COM ANIMEFREAK.TV MY LOOOVES~) I started it... I saw about 14 episodes but then got reallyyyyy lazy.
Then in October, I started Death Note because half the people I knew seemed to be fans of it, and actually finished it (so in a way, DN is my first anime! :') ) and that was when I started hating Shugo Chara.
Then I watched some more anime and now I'm a slight otaku. 8D

Uhm.
o.o;
I never really "loved" Death Note... I mean, yeah it's good and worth watching, but not AH-MAZE-INGGGG like most people that know it say.
FMA and Soul Eater are better than anything! *shot*
The Pokemon anime is a bit childish. (not that I mind childish things... *is one of the most imatture people on this planet*) I prefer the games. 8D
