I really don't think the original intent was at all racist. It's a world created by a dumb D&D campaign. It could easily be interpreted as a cringey attempt at allegory , but I mention that wasn't the original intent by the Japanese author. It's plenty bad though, just for different reasons .
I also wasn't trying to say that Goblin Slayer was like Morrison's writing in quality or intent. I just meant the whole 4th wall breaking aspect. You're right the edge and rape elements do seem like something Millar would do.

Just by watching 11 episodes of Goblin Slayer along I can tell the worldbuilding is trash but I don't know why thanks to the shows horrid pacing
