Enough about me.
Touma Kamijou is the most badass character you'll ever find, end of story.
If you doubt me, read To aru Majutsu no Index New Testament Volume 9, and you'll agree. (Well you should read the other books in the series first though.)
But yeah, he's my favorite fictional character, up there with Bartimaeus from the Bartimaeus Trilogy.
To aru Majutsu no Index is by the best light novel series in existence (it is really called a certain series though "to aru series", and it makes everything else look bad--at least to me. So you should definitely try it. The anime is pretty good: A certain magical Index, and a Certain Scientific Railgun. The novels are way better than the anime though.
Also try the Index manga, the Railgun manga, the Accelerator manga, and ... As you can see the series writer Kazuma Kamachi is prolific since he writes the plot for everything related to the series himself. There are a few non-canon parody stories though that other authors write, that you can check out. Baka Tsuki has all of the light novels translated in different languages, including English, so you should really check it out after you try the anime.
Railgun S is probably the third best anime adaptation I've seen.
Since the light novels completely skew my judgement for how I rate anime, I don't count Index in my top list of anime, i.e. it's #0. Anyway, Kill la Kill is my #1, Kuroko's Basketball is my #2, Fairy Tail is my #3, Full Metal Panic is my #4, Hayate the Combat Butler which is hilarious is my #5, Bakuman is #6, Clannad AS is #7, GTO is #8, Detective Conan is #9, Boys Over Flowers/Zero no Tsukaima/ Toradora/ SAO/... are #10.
I would like to point out though on an honest anime grading scale it would be more like this in terms of ratings:
(Take into account that this is an exponential scale. I.e. if the score is x/100, as x gets bigger, the difference in how good the show is changes a lot. 10/100 still means I really love the show.)
To aru Series=100/100 (perfect in other words)
Kill la Kill= 20/100 (Amazing)
Kuroko no Basket=19.9/100 (Almost as amazing)
Fairy Tail= 19/100 (Still Amazing)
Full Metal Panic=18.9/100 (It's amazing)
Hayate The Combat Butler=18.8/100 (though the manga is like 50/100 it's amazing).
Bakuman=17/100 It is an amazing series.
Clannad AS=16/100 it's one of the best things I have ever seen.
GTO (Great Teacher Onizuka)=15/100 it's one of my favorite manga series ever.
Detective Conan=14.5/100 (What can I say, it's Detective Conan. If there were no filler, this would probably be rated much higher on the exponential scale)
My #10's are around 10/100 because they are still amazing.
I have some other good series I enjoy.
Normal anime on this scale are around 1/100.
Bad ones are around .1/100.
Ahh, I forgot. Madoka would be above Clannad AS on this list, but below Bakuman. Evangelion would be above Kill la Kill, but far far below Index which I believe is better than it in almost every way read Index New Testament 9 to understand why. Evangelion is a 75/100. (but this is still an exponential scale... so that's still nowhere close to Index).

But that didn't have much to do with the episode itself.
I usually pause my screen a lot and even let some scenes replay, i really like details so i prefer to have a good look at them.
From there on i usually base my posts.
I just think that we will get more story on the Sisters that are in Ac than on the ones in the rest of the world. Unless if the story moves outside AC again.
Even my opinion on the preview that was in a spoiler was deleted.
I liked the NT6 more than the 7 though. So much awesomeness in the 6th book. ;]
I didn't watch railgun S as I seldom watch anime show which have yet to finish airing :3.
At long last, I'll be able -for a while- to read things about the raildex without having to avoid spoilers x].
My favorite episode of the season would definitely be episode 5 so far although it may be outmatched by episode 10. I am very confident that JC would jinx the art and make Touma or Kuroko appear in this. (OP song is misleading)
I hope they extend Rikou's scenes as well in the anime as I'm not too familiar with her. I like her character design though!
I thought it was pretty well done and I loved the way Fre nda's VA is portrayed in the series. "Tehehe". I also like how JC is adapting the manga faithfully right now and we're in a main core of the Sisters' Arc. Next week should be good with Mugino against Misaka although more people are looking forward to episode 10. I also read of the Index novels earlier today and wondering if Hamazura will make a cameo in this series.
