I love anime! I started like so many others in the west as a Toonami viewer. For the first few years I did not even know that all the shows came from Japan. As time has gone on I have grown the types of anime i watch from shounen only to every style the art has to offer.
Looking at my scoring people tend to think I dislike a large amount of shows. This is as far from the truth that you can get. I use the full scale 5 being your basic anime that I feel is only worth your time if it fits your style. For example I gave Charlotte a 5, I very much enjoyed the show and watch almost every key anime, still the show would fit into just your average "Key" anime thus the 5.
I feel a score should reflect more then just "I liked the show everyone should watch it!" 9 and 10's should be held for shows that are worth everyone's time, even people who might hate anime. Anything 5 and over is worth looking into if like that genre. The higher the score the more likely someone who stays away from the genre will like it as well. All of this is of course all based off my views.
