Hello there. Have you finished watching "Pokemon (2019)"? The reason why my avg score is so high is probably because I don't usually make reviews for shows I drop or are bad. If I really liked a show or I think it's underrated, I'll go out of my way to give it a score. Or when I'm bored I'll nostalgia browse some old shows on mal and give them scores on a whim. For things like why I gave kny a 2, if some aspect of a show is so abysmal that I'm personally offended by it, I'll probably give that a low score if I can justify it. My tastes do change over time, and I occasionally update old mal reviews, but I don't think there's anything too weird.

I didn't even realize it was possible to respond to reviews until I wrote the kny review lol. I explained my final score in the review, so just look at that. It's not like the mal averaging scores thing is some objective standard or even a common standard in any platform, so I don't get the hang up on that.

Unfortunately, most people that give 1's and 2's say that they actually give certain parts of it like 8's, but for the sake of following mal's review format, they just put a 1. I actually explain why I give it a 2 despite the different categories.

Nobody reviews anything by evenly averaging those categories together, unless you just have no idea what you're thinking before writing the review. I did do a lot of turn my brain off typing in college essays myself, but not too fitting for something you choose to write.
