I like anime, I like dragon ball, I'm a teen, I have back hair, I like boobs, I'm antisocial, I have sort of an inferiority complex, and I can be pretty stupid sometimes. Therefore, I'm your average harem protagonist.
I never got to watch the little witch anime, outside the movies, but agreed she was one mode. I feel like the bonds and dynamics of the characters, and what happens, will shape if the show is good. I trust trigger, so I'm not that concerned yet.
And really good Masamune-kun first impression. It's nice to see someone who can appreciate the diversity of harem genre, not dismissing everything as crap or an imitation. Also I agree, Fanservice is good in the places where it can fit in like harems and romances, but anyone would be pissed if they start flashing unnecessary stuff in action scenes, drama etc.
My only real fear for Masamune is what happens after the premise is forgotten. In most harems the initial premise is dropped after there is a major devlopment in the characters, and I hope they don't start throwing random stuff together to make it work. eg. Nisekoi
