Well it's good as a summary of the show but there's nothing new added. And even though it's HD it just seems to be an upscale of the original since it still looks low-quality.

F/SN reproduction is so lame. It's the exact same animation as from the series. They just made it all fit in less time. The only good thing about it is that it's in HD.

yeah thanks for asking, I really enjoyed Death Note (psychological warfare should have it's own genre). The show was just so damn suspensful that I basically pulled a nasu and marathoned 17 episodes in one day (new record).

The ending itself was probably on of the most intense anime moments i've even sat through (got my adrenaline flowing). Haha, and I didn't expect Matsuda to be the one to shoot Raito. One problem I had with the finale was that it didn't properly wrap up some of the issues that the series raised. For example, who would possess the death note(s) after Raito's death? and what would happen to society after word got round that Kira ceased to exist?

another thing that kind of bugged me about the series was the characterization of the female characters (specifically Misa). While most of the male leads were portrayed as intelligent and powerful the female characters were almost always submissive and to a point, almost powerless. But hey,that's just my 2 cents on the matter. Death Note was still an amazing show and is definitely a 9/10 in my note...er book.

hey nasu, do you have any episodes of Death note on your hard drive? I only have the DVDs up to ep. 20 and I can't find episodes anywhere else

That's really about all of the series that I have been wanting to see. It would be most appreciated if you could burn these onto your stick whenever you get the chance.
