RATING SYSTEM

1 - 3 mostly unusable rating.

4 - yeah, it's just not worthy of watching as a whole impo. It's either extremely boring and/or not entertaining/interesting in any way.

5 - it has something about it that doesn't make it absolutely worthless: be it comedy, interesting characters, some thrilling scenes or the whole mood of the title - but all together it's not something I would watch again, it's not a must-watch either.

6 - it's fine. I'd say it's surely wasn't a waste of my time and if a sequel/prequel is ahead - I'll probably watch it. It might have been really high-quality and all, but it was still off. Maybe it's the ending(I'm looking at you Erased), maybe it's just a solid one-timer that didn't impress me much.

7 - it's good. It's good in mostly everything BUT it wasn't endearing or entertaining enough to watch again. Doesn't appear to trigger any moods either. It might be just good but not good enough in it's genre(there are other anime I would rather re-watch).

8 - it's fun. On my IMDB I often rate overall mediocre or even to many bad movies this rating because it's simply fun to watch again again and again - like I will never get tired of it.

9 - it's in my personal opinion a masterpiece. I enjoy everything about it: the animation, the soundtrack, the voice acting, the plot, the characters. It's either extremely entertaining and has me watching it every time like it's my first or it's absolutely stunned me with it's animation and acting and made me cry like crazy.


10 - it's a title that has some personal value to me. might not be factually even a 8 or a 9, but sometimes a mood just arises and I feel like rewatching. From examples: Wolf's Rain is the first anime I've ever watched, it's a 10 because it has sentimental value. If it wasn't the first anime I've watched it probably would've been a 7.
