Yeah, I'm probably spending more time on this one than I should, but I haven't played it in so long... It's actually getting to be pretty nice. We just recently reached a new peak of 59 players yesterday. Would have been awesome to hit 60 for such an old MMO haha. (≧∇≦)

I've noticed you complain about the heat pretty often and to be honest I'd be right there with you, so I'm currently leaning towards Hokkaido hahah. (・ω<)

Haha yeah, it's hard for me to really pick any favorites when it comes to music. (≧∇≦) I just kind of prefer the way they sounded with Craig Mabbit. They're still a good band and I like their later albums as well haha.

I don't care for Escape the Fate with Craig though. (・・)

I started playing an old mmorpg called Endless Online again recently and now I'm getting hardly anything done. (・へ・) I'm spending all my time on anime, manga and now this. I only worked for about an hour and half today... Halp. (≧∇≦)

The band that first got me into the genre was Vanna, or more specifically their EP "This Will Be Our Little Secret", OR even more specifically their song "A Dead Language For a Dying Lady" hahah...(≧∇≦)

As for favorite albums...that's a tough one, but I'll give it a shot haha.

I just really like the sound they have. There are a few other bands with a similar sound, but I still prefer Of Machines haha.

Not to the same extent that I used to, but yeah I've been checking out their new music as they release it. I listened to Throne a couple days ago and it was good. It's still interesting hearing Oli sing a little more on each album. I seem to recall him saying years ago that he would like to sing, but wouldn't because he sucked haha. I may be wrong though. Hahah their songs are wonderful. (≧∇≦) I know what you mean about the whole "Oh, _____" and 'verb' the 'noun' bands though. Of Machines are actually pretty interesting though, at least in my opinion anyway haha.


They split it quite a while back, but started a Kickstarter campaign for one more album a couple years ago. There have been a couple demos since then, but it's taking forever. Might never be finished, but it would be great if they do finish it haha.

Oh yeah, I think the vocals are definitely an improvement from those in their first two albums. I just listened to Ich mach was mit Medien, but thanks to the lyric video I have this strange desire to just call it the "Hypnocat" song. (・_・)

I've listened to a lot of bands from Japan that one could consider metalcore, and this may be a dumb question, but I've always wondered why so many of them write their songs in English. Is it because metalcore is more popular in the west or something? The English lyrics don't always make sense either... (≧∇≦)

Hahah nice! Yeah they're pretty awesome. You would probably enjoy the other bands I mentioned (Save Us From the Archon and The Helix Nebula). They're a little heavier than CHON, but their music has the same feeling to it. (・∀・)

Yeah, I've listened to WBTBWB for years. I do have a preference for their older albums, "Das Monster aus dem Schrank" and "Der Tag an dem die Welt Unterging", but their more recent music is good too. (^_^ )

I understand the grammar and how to structure sentences, but there are still a lot of words I don't know so I have to look them up in a dictionary and even then I still screw things up from time to time and don't notice it until later on, especially when I'm tired, heh.
