My philosophies to animes and otakus at heart:
1. "To each their own."- Everyone has different tastes in animes and I appreciate the diversity of each user's anime preferences.
2. "Treat others as you would like to be treated."-
Be respectful!
3. "Opinions CANNOT be graded."- There's NO such thing as a good/bad/invalid opinion. Opinions defined by all dictionaries mean the thought process gathered from perceptions/experiences of one. I think it's neat everyone has different opinions on each anime. It's what makes us human...to be rational.
4. "Slow and steady wins the race."- I REALLY HATE it when people rush to finish an anime. I mean, yeah, some series are 12 episodes and people like to finish them in like 6 hours, but for me, I like to soak every episode of an anime like a sponge, absorbing what I can. Besides, watching animes is my hobby; NOT a RACE unless you like to race cars XD!
3 main facts about me:
1. I'm a 4th year student majoring in Food and Nutrition to become a Registered Dietician so pray for me that I will get accepted into the internship.
2. I, "REALLY" got into anime when I was in my 3rd year of high school.
3. I
LOVE yanderes ;)
*Goal: to watch at least over 100 anime TV series (excluding OVA's and movies)*
*Every goal I've done, I'll tell you more facts about myself*
Anime Milestone--> 50th anime TV series watched: Kanon 2006
Fact #4- I can speak several languages: English (obviously XD), French, and Tagalog, and a potential 4th one (Spanish)

How was it?
From my one day experience, I'm eager to attend AN next year for at least 2 of the 3 days. How was your experience in the 3 days you spent there and what did you end up purchasing. Also were you able to pickup your Saturday badge on Friday?
Btw I took notice of your advice on purchases. I was able to purchase a Pop Figure for retail price, as well I was able to pick up some great pieces from the art gallery.
Was hoping to go for at least 2 days, but figured this is the 1st year so I just want to get a feel for the environment.
Could you inform me of events that they held in past?
*A majority of what I've seen online is cosplays (on the weekend) and the dealers room where they sell the merchandise
Was hoping to attend a youtube panel if they have one on Friday
I do plan on coming this year, as I will be looking to buy my tickets early (in a way to not give myself a back out excuse). Regardless if I have the car available or not, I should find a way to get there.
Has anything peaked your interest so far this year?
*Sorry for the late reply btw, I've only been updating MAL on my phone recently through the app
Yeah, I've been busy with University 3rd year (out of 4, but might extend it to 5). Plus I have to manage my anime club's social media platforms as part of my executive job. Facebook sucks your lifetime in regular 2 hour sessions. It's hard to keep up with everything.
And thanks. Happy Holidays to you. Hopefully they'll be great things in the new year.
As for Winter 2015, apparantely almost every show I watched this season is a 24 episode one, so I'll be continuing with those, but I might start one or two. Whatever I can fit on my hard drive.
As of right now here's the list:
Fall 2014 (Every series I finished, will finish soon, or is still airing)
Amagi Brilliant Park (Finished)
Fairy Tail (2014)
Fate/ Stay Night: UBW (Subber is stalled at ep 3. I finished the VN, so it's not an issue. Plus 2nd cour is delayed until April)
Log Horizon Season 2
Magic Kaito 1412
Nanatsu no Taizai (Seven Deadly Sins)
Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April)
Sora no Method (Finishing)
Sword Art Online II (Subber is stalled at ep 14. First arc is done, so I can wait)
Winter 2015:
anichart.net/winter
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (TV) (Already saw the OVA and reading the manga. Watching)
Aldnoah.Zero 2 (After I see the first season)
Death Parade (After I see the OVA- Death Billiards)
Durarara!!x2 Shou (After I see the first season)
Isuca (Maybe)
Rolling☆Girls (Maybe)
Saenai Heroine no Sodate-kata (Maybe)
So all in all, I will probably not start/finish half of these and I need to start a review ani-blog when I can muster up the time and willpower. As for now, it's relaxing and catching up on sleep. Talk to you later, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.:)
Yeah, I'm definitely excited for the Winter anime! There is lots to watch and many are sequels like Kuroko no Basket 3 and Durarara!!x2 so I shouldn't be dropping anything. One new anime I'm really looking forward to is Death Parade. I watched the short film Death Billiards yesterday and Death Parade has definitely become one of my most anticipated.
It's going to be a struggle to find time to watch them all though as I'm watching Yu Yu Hakusho and I have a list of other things I need to watch. I also have mock exams in January. :(
You staying at a hotel and going all 3 days?
btw do you know if the merchandise their is reasonably priced, idk where else to purchases any anime related items aside from pacific mall
Bakemonogatari you should give it a try. The stories are somehow separated but at the same time are related. The first episode is very very dull. But Senjougohara story is very good. You have to get ''it'' if you know what I mean. Because the dialogue is good and it has the light novel vibe.
You should catch up right now instead of the meh shows of right now. :)
Well I am also like that with the papers and documents I am giving to the University so I can enter so I have been quite busy too.
Well the series that were leftovers from 2013 were better than the beginning of 2014. Although I decided to watch Nisekoi which is good the first 2 episodes that I have seen. But at the end Mahou Sensou ended up being so Deus Ex Machina and one of the worst shows I have seen while Space Dandy was ok, it was more cartoonish style than anything. I hope you enjoyed Kill La Kill it was ''FABULOUS'' and also Golden Time it was also great for the development.
For this season again I haven't seen something interesting. I am currently watching Mushishi. It is so peaceful and slow that relaxes me after a hard week.Maybe I'll decide to watch Selector Wixoss and Kanojo no Flag but I still I don't want to. Also I started to watch JoJo so I can catch up with the second season. It has so much testosterone >:D
Maybe I will also watch Mekaku City Actors just because SHAFT. But I don't know so that would be my resume from Spring.
Mostly I am waiting for the sequels. *HANDS UP*
