I started watching Anime in the 1970s with Robotech (Macross), Speed Racer (Mach Go Go Go) and G-Force / Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman). After those were finished I didn't watch Anime for many years until someone introduced me to Ghost in the Shell and Armitage III. What a shock it was to someone who still thought of Anime as kid's cartoons! Since that time my tastes have expanded beyond just Sci-Fi into the myriad of other genre that are out there. I've introduced my kids to Anime other than Pokemon which they discovered on their own, and I pre-screen to make sure what they watch are age appropriate. Eventually I'd like to have all the Anime I've watched broken out into rated groups, but for now here's my list of kid safe favorites...
