Yeah I only play when I'm on breaks from college but I only play games I really want like you say.

As for anime, I mostly download mine since there is uneven distribution like you mentioned and I don't think there is one single streaming service that offers all anime. I use Crunchyroll for some but for the rest I have to "sail the seven seas" if you know what I mean.

I'm more of a PC guy nowadays too. Only game I'm playing on the PS4 at the moment is Persona 5 and even if it was the only PS4 game I had I would still consider the PS4 worth buying, but that's just me. Maybe if you're interested in Horizon Zero Dawn and the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 then it might be more worth buying for you. The Last of Us is a great game too that's on the PS4 and the sequel is going to be released at some point next year.

I watched the Persona 4 anime and liked it but I watched it after playing the game so I'm not sure how much I would've liked it if I watched the anime first. However every Persona game is self contained so the lore is explained in Persona 5. The only thing you will miss are small references and shout outs to the previous games. Still, I think Persona 4 the animation was a good anime that had a lot of funny moments as well as good action scenes. The best thing to do would be to play Persona 4 Golden but you might not have a Vita or PS TV.

Kajitsu was definitely way too long but fortunately the other two games are shorter and more to the point. If you want to save time though I would recommend the anime. It's still good imo as an anime only series despite what all the VN readers (including myself) think of it as an adaptation.

As for Persona 5, If you're interested in it I would 100% recommend it. I think it's probably my favorite game at the moment and it's the best Persona game so far imo. If you like turn based RPG gameplay with visual novel/dating sim elements with an interesting and engaging story then you'll definitely enjoy Persona 5. I'm already on my third playthrough so if you decide to get it and need any help explaining stuff from the game feel free to ask me any time.

Great anime taste tho.

Yeah I can see how you might think that since she did all of that sexual stuff at first as a way to atone for what happened to Kazuki. However, after they get together (if you choose her route) and Yuuji learns of her past, Amane genuinely falls in love with Yuuji and she continues being her sexual self but this time it's because of her love for him so it feels more special and natural rather than forced. This also continues in the other two games so it's only on the first few sex scenes of the first game where it felt like she was forcing herself. If you liked the first game, I would recommend the other two, especially Rakuen since it's the "True Ending" of the story. You could also just watch the anime but the games are much better, but at least if you watch Rakuen you'll see the true end of the story.

I like Amane because of her playful personality and sexual nature. I feel like she fits the best with Yuuji out of all the other characters too (although I like Yumeko as well). I'm also pretty attached to her I guess since I played the 3 games and went through all of her routes/side stories and she became my favorite.

As for Velvet, I guess I liked her transformation from being a cold hearted villain/anti-hero to someone who cares about her friends and would give her life for them. She had a lot of inner demons but she was able to overcome them and I admire her strength. I also really like her character design.
