I love your battle with harshtruth. You can do it!!
harshtruth Jun 2, 2017 7:03 AM
Lmao, I won't apologize for offending you piss poor series, if you want to watch it be my guest. Don't get a fit because I said it's shit...just accept the fact that you like a shit series and move on instead of complaining on my profile...bye
harshtruth Jun 1, 2017 1:13 PM
"I knew it was bad since season 1" Please read properly and you have to watch 4 episodes before you can right a review otherwise they remove it...I literally explain it in the first line of the review but thanks for the stupid comment anyway 👍

Yeah for sure. It was really cool to see Ishida start his road to redemption, but it got kinda cheesy and unrealistic after the romance started.

I was really mad at the series. The story is really great and the pacing is decent. However the characters are quite empty. Instead of using episodes to show the complexity of character development they show some action scenes which are actually not really fun. Because the action scenes go on with Satoru commanding what is where and who to where and do what. And after those episodes which are quite slow because of those actions, they timeskipped the character development and we're suddenly here with new characters that don't show much uniqueness and are very shallow. Other than that, the queerat psychology was quite intriguing even though they didn't take much space of the anime. Not to mention my favorite queerat died for the sake of (twisted)humanity. Therefore this is why I gave it a 7 and still find it humble.

It had it good atmospheric horror and shock scenes, but it was still overburdened by all the slow "action" scenes.

hi ;3

Sorry for responding so late. I tend to not look at my comment section when I have pressing matters like finals (but I caved now, whoops).

I think it's fine that you review based on almost entirely personal enjoyment, but it'd help if you'd address that at the very beginning. Otherwise, you look just extremely biased and people will give you flack for that for sure since you're supposedly writing a review to help other people give an assessment of the show in the case they'd like to watch it. If you make note of the fact that you're heavily biased and for the most part uncritical of the show's major flaws and elements, then they'll read your review for a different reason and you won't end up attracting some other people (like myself) who are looking for a strong and as objective-as-possible- review. Basically, it'll save you a lot of explaining to others like you are doing with me.

That's all I have to say besides a couple points you might address in the future once you do a serious analysis. 1) Grimgar lacking a strong/fast pace isn't inherently bad. Character and dialogue-heavy shows like Grimgar seem to actually benefit from a more relaxed pace. 2) Manato was more of a supporting character than anything that didn't really need to be developed in full. The author seems to have purposefully killed him off for a primary reason: to make the characters feel a sense of regret for not getting to know him or trying to before he died. If he had died fully-developed, his death would've given off an entirely different feeling. This other feeling may not necessarily be a bad one to evoke, but clearly the author had a vision, and that vision was to express guilt and regret in the cast for not trying to understand their biggest support pillar and taking him for granted. TL;DR: There's never one good type of pacing/development/etc. for any genre.

Woah, i've woken up, you know, just chilling with some express coffee and I suddenly see this huge wall of text. It isn't that I have anything against that, but this really escalated quickly, and furthermore not from someone who's fairly new to MAL or at least didn't enter into huge comment to comments with other users. Speaking of new to mal, why don't you instantly update your changes in anime episodes watched after you do actually watch them. You said that you were on 17th episode but on your profile it clearly says 10.

I tend to disagree that the monogatari series is illogical, except Nadeko. She has the emptiest personality, and people would only like her because she's really cute. But you probably have or met some really hot girls in real life, but you can't stand them because of their personality. Nadeko is exactly like that. That arc was okay but I liked the others arcs (tsubasa tiger or Hachikuji Mayoi arc) more. Oh I actually enjoyed the toothbrush scene. I'm a guy who just ignores the things that could make me feel uneasy. Uneasy as in something that is kinda disturbing not something that is awkward and doesn't allow you to do something currently in real life. In fact, I just try to go into the mind of someone who would enjoy it, and try to enjoy it, it almost always works. Anything that happens on a screen cannot make me feel uneasy at all (unless it's loud sounds, which isn't on a screen).

As for the ops of all monogatari series, I find them kinda relaxing. There are no ops that I actually remember, since they aren't very energetic, but they had some peaceful symbols of the current arc. Also, what is your favorite female character from monogatari series? Oh, and the reason for owarimonogatar is exactly why you should join some anime communities and be informed of what is going on this season, and also acquire some backlog when you have free time.

Actually, I didn't like mikado simply because of his relation with Anri. It is the most bland relationship any anime can have. When they're mutually interacting, I just pray for the scene to end quickly. I can't stand that kind of a cliche relationship at all. In Drrr first season he had some interesting moments but also a few of them which I didn't enjoy. Alright, I'll probably give a shot for both shinsekai yori and Drrr sequels

One more thing about me, If you see me not commenting on something that you've written, it is simply because I totally agree and have nothing to add to that opinion.

It's really nice when the title really interacts with the actual plot of anime and isn't a character name or something, and that it also just needs 1 quick thought to see it, and not be obvious as fuck (absolute duo ((shit))). The next season of monogatari series (which is monogatari series 2nd season) is the best one if you ask me. It has some really nice conclusions and arcs, you should check it up. Oh and how did you like the toothbrush scene :^) some people just drop nisemonogatari because of it and never continue lol, talk about overreacting over a creative scene.

I'm really grateful that you've put a profile picture. And that is Mikado, so I've checked and it looks like you've completed sequels to Drrr, and I would like to hear your opinions on it. Though I guess that they aren't better than the first series. Also it's really nice that you rate different shows of an anime separately, for example the fate/stay night UBW series, in which you rated the prologue highest, which is superior than the rest of the show. Oh, and why have you finished Owarimonogatari before the monogatari second season :o
MaridiuS Feb 20, 2016 4:43 AM
For the second movie, they made it longer than 4 episodes, meaning more enhanced scenes. And the movies aren't actually a recap, what they're doing is making you rewatch the series, it is good to give them a shot if it has been a while since you've seen madoka series.
The first movie has less minutes in it than the first 8 episodes so they've cut some things. Because it is like 8 episodes, there are no cliffhangers and no time to think about them, so the movie wasn't as good as the first 8 episodes. But the second movie has dynamic scene switching, so it was a huge successes.

Also how did you like Nisemonogatari?

And it would be nice if you could add an avatar to your MAL profile, that way it doesn't feel like you're a robot lol.
MaridiuS Feb 19, 2016 4:16 AM
How can you give madoka magica 10, their first 2 movies a 8 if it's the same stuff. I can understand about the first movie, but the second is a masterpiece.
