Hey! I had a chance to read your Guren Lagann review after rewatching that anime (because I always read 10 scored biased reviews) and I burst out laughing lol. What kind of flying ship (it should not even be able to fly) CAN kick another flying battleship? THATS EXACTLY RIGHT! Nice to see some people have logic still. I've had my maniac laugh when Lordgenome transformed into the ship lol. I'm not Mecha maniac but I realized some animes you didnt watch that has mecha elements(not full mecha like Spaceship kick!)

Thank you thank you. I reworked it a couple weeks back and changed a lot of stuff around.

Any show I've rewatched is something I consider amazing. I watched TTGL right after watching Code Geass.
They were both similar (mecha and time in which they came out) but the tonality of the show was completely different.
CG was more serious and dark while TTGL was light-hearted and full of optimism. I'm glad I watched TTGL after CG because I needed some of that optimism.

What I liked most about TTGL is how I went into the show not expecting much and all of a sudden it blew my expectations out of the water.
I always tell people when I'm recommending the show to them "it starts from underground and goes places you can't even think of imagining."

Overall I liked and enjoyed the series. I can see why a lot didn't like it that much tho. After the 4th episode it felt like the series started to decline and head downhill a bit. And the ending could've been a lot better. But since there wasn't an actual conclusion to the series and 2 recap movies were already announced, I think it might get another season. Or maybe it'll get a sequel movie after the 2 recap movies air to give us an actual ending to the story.

Hmm... You might like Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu. Its a decent Fantasy series so far. Everything else from this season I'm either behind on, or it's a sequel. So I can't recommend any other seasonal anime for now.

I watched the last 4 episodes of it (God Eater) about a week or 2 ago. It was very good overall. I hope there is a 2nd season in the near future.

That's how you know when an anime/show is good, when you sit down to watch it and it feels like only a few minutes have passed once you're done with an episode.
That makes sense, but the wait usually doesn't bother me if there are other quality anime airing during that season.

Yea, I think it is. They basically turned a Seinen series into a Shounen series and found a way to make the censoring the 1st season had even worse in the 2nd season xD

Okay, me too :D Alright, let me know what you think about the 1st movie after you finish it. That's true, it all comes down to execution. I've seen the first 9 episodes of God Eater, and I've enjoyed it so far. I need to watch the last 4 eps soon though. You're welcome :)

Yep. Haha, are you still going to watch it, and the 1st season too? Yea, I know about Ajin. I've seen the 1st of the 3 movies that are supposed to come out for it. It's actually pretty good. I haven't seen the TV series yet tho. A lot of people don't like CG anime, but I think they handled it well in the 1st movie. You should probably check it out if you enjoyed the manga :)
