You overdid it with the scoring of your Angel Beats review. It ain't that great if you watch similar series or the stories it ripped off.

The five on my Favorite Manga list are pretty awesome. Monster is thriller/suspense, Onani Master Kurosawa is about a coming-of-age teenager, Veritas and The Breaker are just awesome fighting, and Fullmetal Alchemist is just plain awesome.
Beelzebub and Bakuman are also great to pick up, funny, and Beelzebub is more action oriented, while Bakuman is more comedy-plot oriented.
School Rumble, Cromartie High School, and Hayate no Gotoku! are great comedy slice of life series, and Eyeshield 21 is a great manga about football. Death Note is a bit overrated, but it's still pretty good.
They're all great manga to start with, with the exception of maybe Monster.

Haha, fantastic. I'm much too used to the American system of grading (anything below 70% is failing) to really consider 5 an average. It just seems a bit harsh, so my average is around 7.5 or so.

seeing as though how our synchronization rate (lol) is "somewhat high" at 73.9%, i'll go ahead and listen to your advice and steer away from ZnT s2 and s3. Seikon no Qwaser too, I guess. LvB was just terribad... I dunno how I managed to sit through the first 10 episodes or so. K-on S2, I watched the first episode because it was an Azunyan ep and then I dropped it, but because I only watched like parts of it, I just put it as dropped.
Thanks for your suggestions though.
I suggest you start reading manga, because imho, most manga is better than anime (source > adaptation generally).
