Forty-something late-comer to anime although I've always been into sci fi, fantasy and horror films and TV.
Took out Funimation subscription last year and have so far watched Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, The Vinland Saga, Snow White With The Red Hair, Attack on Titan, Yona of the Dawn, Demon Slayer, High School DxD, Claymore, K-on!, High School of the Dead, Corpse Princess, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and Super Cub. Film-wise I've watched a lot of Studio Ghibli, most of Makoto Shinkai's stuff and a few of the old classics like Akira.
You can tell from the list that my tastes are quite wide. I like a bit of action but, equally, I sometimes also like to just chill and relax in front of a bit of easy-going, feelgood slice of life.
Big ambition is to visit Japan in the next couple of years. Not just because of anime. Want to see the bright lights of 'megacity' Tokyo, love the food (including cooking it) and want to experience the culture for myself.
