came across this and thought it was pretty funny
If you haven't watched Dog Days it's worth trying out, at least the first season. It's a lot of lighthearted fun and Eclair is super cute. The other seasons are not as great, because Eclair becomes a side character for various reasons.
Also after finishing Yuuki Yuuna just now I realized that my favorite character from that show (Karin) is also very Eclair-esque lol.
I think the closest I could come up with was Eclair from Dog Days who is pretty similar in personality and expressions if not in appearance. Also Chiba Erika from Mahouka and Tennouji Nae in her Robotics;Notes adult form have some similarities.
What about the art style? I think a large part of it was that the way she was drawn seemed really familiar but the studio (Passione) hasn't really done anything else...
[spoiler]The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

Non Non Biyori is must-watch imo, but Kiniro Mosaic is just ok. It starts out with way too much Engrish and with focus on the two weakest characters. It does get better, but it never gets anywhere near the kind of brilliance that NNB or, say, K-ON achieves. I would recommend Love Lab instead for your 5-girl-anime fix.
Since you seem to like it, I'll try out Tonari no Seki-kun. I've only tried watching a 5-minute anime once before though, and I dropped it (Yama no Susume). I'm hoping this one lives up to your praise.
How are you liking any of the shows you've started?
I think you should give Non Non Biyori a try. It's very cute and charming. Railgun S's second half is nothing particularly special though, so you're not missing out on much there.

Yup, I thought Shinsekai yori was great. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any other anime to come close for me. I didn't find Hataraku and Mondaiji too impressive, but I did enjoy them - at the very least, they were fun to watch. I've seen some of both Golden Time and White Album 2, but I think I'm going to wait until they're finished to see if they're worth continuing. I just couldn't find anything to like about the characters in either of them (okay, Linda is kind of cute, but that's it). As for Minami-ke, I might eventually pick it back up, but I didn't like the one episode I watched, so it might be a while until I give it another try.
I really slice of life shows, so I enjoyed Non Non Biyori this season. Apart from that, it seems that the only good shows this year are second seasons: Kuroko no Basket, Monogatari Series, Kakumeiki Valvrave, Railgun S. Well, I suppose there is Psycho-Pass since we're counting Shinsekai yori.
I've been pretty good. It's nice to be on break and not have to worry about homework for a while.
