Thats why I rewatched it and now its a 7 :P.See my tag for it.
I am actually one of the rare species who prefer hand drawn style over CGI and therefore while I can appreciate the efforts behind The clean and neat graphics and scenery, I don't seem to enjoy them much.As much as people want to deny it but anime is a visual experience and new visuals are not for me.
Though after rewatching I realised how simple it was and how genuine the relationships were.

I'm Aryya, originally from bengal but live in bombay because dad got a transfer.
Currently studying for my 12th boards, I intend to become a civil engineer but gosh the competition to get into the colleges @_@

One piece is my favourite shonen manga, it's world building is simply amazing but there are a few arcs that came out annoying or pointless sometimes and the lack of much character development is bit demeaning sometimes. I mean luffy lost his brother in front of his eyes and one would expect some sense of maturity and growth instead of power ups which is a given in shonen.

Yeah, I've only read oyasumi punpun by asano and I was blown away at how the writer handles the themes beautifully. Waiting for the whole thing to be translated and then will continue. YKK is probably the best thing I've read though.

Check out mushishi, its a dark and yet calming anime, I've never seen a dark and calm atmosphere together. You might even want to check out Aria but I see that you have read the manga already. Also if you like romance be sure to check out 5 centimeters per second, a touching tale that takes a cliche premise and works wonders with it. And since we both seem to be studying in or for college go watch tatami galaxy. It's a genius anime
