When you can't stomach an opinion without vomiting insults, you'll get ignored. Probably blocked. Doing that is super easy and a save of time on both sides.
Out of all of the manga and anime I've seen, Berserk has the least sexualization. Rape is treated with the upmost respect in Berserk. Whether or not it's sexualized is up to the reader. Also, Casca never has her agency taken away. Even as she is post eclipse, she still is the driving force behind much of what happens.
As for her not dealing with her trauma as well as Guts... Casca regressing into a childlike state of mind is due to her being assaulted by someone she admired so deeply and she couldn't handle it. Casca has always been very weak mentally. She latched onto Griffith the moment she met him because he was like her knight in shining armor. Then she pivoted from Griffith to Guts. I know there's really no such thing as objective review, but I do think yours is objectively wrong. Or at least based on criticism of things that aren't a problem.
Well i'm only in the final 3rd of the Conviction arc but i can kinda see what you meant by the sexualization thing. But is it true that Berserk declined after Golden Age? Heard a lot of people said that.
Nah i'm anything but fast. I follow some of my other MAL friends and i just keep falling further behind each day. And i'm like the opposite of you coz i watch more than i read.
Nothing much about me really lately. Those old anime i just completed was bcoz i found them on yt so i just watched them there before they get taken down lol.
Berserk ain't edgy for the sake of it. Berserk was to make us learn stuff such as mental illness being very tough to understand in the medieval times and that it was hard to cure back then and what makes a human be and understand like a human. If you want to call out a manga for being edgy for the sake of it do that to Gantz please
Also Gantz in fact treated Kei Kishimoto's character agency a lot worse than Casca. Kei Kishimoto was mostly only viewed as a attempt rape victim and sex symbol whereas Casca at least is shown fighting. Also Berserk is set in a medieval realistic fantasy world so yes a lot of women were treated poorly and yes I hate to see that happening but it's accurate of what happens in our old times.
Your Berserk review is fucking garbage! Berserk is to show rape in a negative light! Just because there's rape doesn't mean sexualization! It's used for narrative messages and get that through your head!
Nothing really. Well at least i used to watch/update football regularly but eventually stopped during that period but the World Cup managed to bring my interest back into it and now i'm into football again. What about you? Still studying?
