my dream is to one day blow $2.5 mil on salmon and blackfish delicacies in my life. Is it even possible? Well, for every weekend, you can fly to China (~1.5k USD), eat the delicious seafood (~400-1k RMB, any more is ripping you off) for a decade (560 weekends) for 1120k give or take inflation and exchange fluctuations. Or maybe it's cheaper to buy out a personal chef, that's 60-160k/year though depending on whether you pay for a live-in or per meal. Or maybe to open a restaurant, actually nah that's the most expensive option, definitely >1 mil/year for operating costs alone.
