I had waited to finish Anohana with my wife, but I couldn't wait anymore, I had to see it. That's the most beautifully sad anime I've ever seen. No wonder it's rating is so high on ANN! I loved it!

I just finished Outlaw Star again. UPDATE: it's still awesome.

I have a set of DVDs that I keep by the bedroom TV. These discs contain some special anime that I watch over and over at night, to kind of reset my brain from whatever I'm watching day-to-day. It helps that my wife likes anime. These box sets are my go to sets:

Cowboy Bebop
Outlaw Star
Mushishi
Witch Hunter Robin
Saikano

I have a lot to add to my lists... I've been watching anime for a couple decades. This could take a while.
