LOL Yeah I like to use this website to it's full potential (in the list making part) And yesssssss, I've been a fan of the The Breaker since like halfway through the first series when that was releasing and just found that pic in the depths of some external recently? Somewhere around there... Also, I don't think I said that it's getting worse. Just that the school-plots are driving me up the wall basically. But I totally agree on me liking manga more, but it's also the fact that there are thousands more manga to read than anime to watch (in the genres I like anywho)

edit; i freaking love your anime list layout btw

Well i usually rate my anime on personal enjoyment and a few other factors,so differently than some other people.Yuno made Mirai Nikki a 9 for me.I have never encountered such an interesting yandere(im open to suggestions),without Yuno i would probably rate it like 6-7.Same goes for School Days.First few episodes were fun but after that it was just pain untill like last 2-3 episodes.Character development was probably worse than in any other anime. We can argue all we want but everyone has an opinion and imo School Days is just a bad adaptation.

I love your announcement. That's basically what I've been thinking of doing as well. I keep up with some manga here and there but for anime I haven't really watched anything in over a year because I'm just tired of boring school plots and moe crap... It's not bad I just feel like it's not anything worth watching. I miss all the amazing martial arts, samurai, mecha, super powers, and sports anime that has been made in the past, today, not so much.

JUst a little apreciation on your comment (thanks by the way, it is more and more uncommon to see a structured comment on that tread. Yours made me smile... a little)

About Psycho Pass
... hard. I know. but i placed that comment arround episode 7. So i´m considering make it a 9... but i can´t think why not a 10... but is definetly not a 10... yet.
Still, so far i LOVE Akane, and i'm even considering place her on my favs. But still... there something about her that makes me frown every time she apears.

In Chu2, the change fro comedy/romance to drama/romance was soemthing really unespected, at first, the series was filled with GIF material, now, it makes you nod at (almost) every single apreciation the made about grow up. (at least for me since i had to struggle for the "chu2")

Hello,
thanks for the comment on my list. I think you deserve answers on some of your points, so here it is:
Texhnolyze... I have somehow different idea of a deep anime, but it's still a very good show that is worth the watch. It has a similar vibe as Ergo Proxy, which was more enjoyable for me though.
Regarding Baccano - no I haven't, but I might someday. I have some kind of problem with both Baccano and Durara, I just don't like the way of storytelling. Both are technically very good anime, but the inconsistency and chaos and lacking focus on one character doesn't appeal to me, although that is probably one of the main reasons why people like it so much.
But I really liked the Baccano specials. I even considered giving it higher score but I thought it would feel weird so I left it like that.
As for anime like AnoHana, for me it really depends in what kind of mood I watch it. I'm pretty schizophrenic at times, it would make me cry one day and laugh the second day. My rating might not be that objective, but I felt that the drama and tears were way too forced. The ending particularly consisted of the group crying and screaming the dead girl's name, even though she was annoying as hell (okay, that may sound really cynical, of the dead, speak no evil, was it?). I couldn't really relate to any of the characters as I didn't understand their actions at all. The problem of the anime is also that it's pretty short, so there is no real space for character developement. I might watch the movie though, it might surprise me.

• I can tell you right now that K is complete shit, but it's an enjoyable kind of shit.
• Yes Nodame Cantabile is silly, you have to admit the characters do some ridiculous stuff. But I do like it because I love classical music, it's the sort of show I can just sit back and enjoy. In that sense, it does a much better job than Aria, whose silly characters I can't get past.
• I hate everything about Steins;Gate past episode 12. It throws away a great premise for cheap, forced melodrama that requires it to actively destroy all sense and logic. It annoys me to no end that no one else seems to care about the underhanded methods used to create this worthless drama. I can only pray that the same thing does not happen to Robotics;Notes, which I'm really enjoying so far.
• I don't even have Yu Yu Hakusho on my list, why did you copy my comment into your comments?

Thanks so much for taking the time to respond in a comment. I appreciate it.

Anyway, yeah, I'm not too big on shounen. But I do give a few a chance.

I can't say I am really dying to watch any of the "big 3", but I do hear almost consistently good things about One Piece (from people who have given it a chance). I guess, for me, the length is a bit intimidating.

Who knows? I could try it some day.

Hello, just wondering from what anime is your sig? XD
Angamo May 25, 2012 5:45 PM
Yes, I know it is one of the biggest shounen series. But I am happy to see other people that like One Piece nevertheless;)

I enjoyed the fishman arc so far, but yes, it's nowhere as good as alabasta, water 7 and enies lobby arc. I didn't really think about it, but when I do, I do not hate Hordy that much. Yes, he is a bad man, and he has to be taken down by Luffy and crew, but outside that, I don't have so many things to say about him. It will be fun though:)
And no, I have not read the manga. I should;^^
Crimson_V May 22, 2012 12:30 AM
yea they used lots of metaphors, its like they were trying to tell 2 storys, but if you already watched 13 eps you might as well finish it :D

aoi bungaku and shigofumi are my current favorite episodic series, they are dark, pshyological animes a bit similar to jigoku shoujo, im quite positive that you may like one of them.

y i watched a YT vid that was about them running out of toilet paper it was pretty hilarious, ill give Gintama another try.
Evangelion2014 May 19, 2012 4:58 AM
Hey, I don't mind shounen as long as they are pulled off well. I enjoyed FMA (haven't seen brotherhood) and inuyasha kanketsu hen.
Crimson_V May 19, 2012 3:23 AM
i wouldnt recommend penguindrum to you, while it has great art style , and can be deep at times, its a little bit too "childish" for your taste i guess, if you can look past that, you might wanna watch it.

I enjoyed Level E mostly becouse the mainlead is such a troll :P,
"i dont like series that doesn't have a proper story line"
do you also dislike episodic series like the Aoi Bungaku Series and Shigofumi?

and i noticed that you started watching Gintama, does it get better after the first few episodes?

Im also a "marathon type", i once had a free afternoon and i read 200 chapters from a single manga.

"sanctuary and monster" y ill check them out.
