whooo i finally found who recommended Kurozuka to me, it was you >.> that's what i get for not replying right away lol i'll be sure to check it out. and of course i still love Kigeki adn Darker than Black XDD
heya, totally thought i replied to you -.- (thank goodness for com-to-com thing) how are things?
the final volume of Loveless is still not on sale over here, i can't wait.. wah i'm gonna miss it so much >.<
Unfortunately, I'm currently visiting my home for the summer, so my desktop, which has links to all those sites, is not at my disposal. I've attempted to try and refind some of those I mentioned, but I had difficulty finding the best ones. I will be more than happy to send those along to you when I get back to school in roughly a month and a half. Int he mean time, here are some sites on the actual myth and then some forums:

(Thsi one you may want to scroll down towards the end. There's not a LOT to be gained from this one, but some good questions are raised and the music intellectuals come out in force)
I hope these help you out. If you'd ever like to discuss ideas about the show, I'd love to do so. The main thing that I've been trying to figure out for ages is the importance of eyes in the series. There's the whole rabbit thing, Kiyoko getting an eye hurt, Reiko's eyeball sacrifice, the gleaming eyes of that evil duck thing in the basement, and so forth. They put a lot of emphasis on it and I've just been pondering what the meaning was. Also, I noticed that the bunny's eyes and the beads in Reiko's hair are pretty much the same, so I'm curious to know if they were trying to draw a connection between Reiko and the snow rabbit. Reiko's hairstyle even looks like bunny ears. Hmmm... Tis mysterious.
nah.. i want to wait until it goes on sale >.> i don't like reading from the screen, especially my favorite things.. plus this way i can prolong it XD lol
wahah~ *tears* i'm so happy someone else took notice of that breathtaking heartbreaking scene! *hugs*
what about the one where Ritsuka fell asleep while playing Wisdom Resurrection, and Soubi came over and changed him into his pajamas?? and was all "Are all children this cute? No, Ritsuka is special. He is so warm, and soft. So small, so cute. Ritsuka, you're so cute"?? i thought it was one of the most beautiful scenes also! *_*

(You kind of have to shift through this discussion a bit, but it's worth it. Some of the people responding to this thread are extremely well read and have very interesting insights)
