Hey I've been watching anime since the late 90s. Back then I just caught whatever premium cable like Showtime and Encour had to offer. Ninja Scroll, Goku Midnight Eye, Vampire Hunter D all come to mind. However enjoyable, I was never hooked by any of these titles. It wasn't until Adult Swim started airing the likes of Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and FLCL that I truly became a full fledged anime fan. Since then I tend to always be currently tied to one series or another and will typically watch a movie or two in-between. I VERY MUCH enjoy receiving recommendations so feel free to message me some titles to watch and I will definitely check them out in time. I don't read manga, not that I really dislike it or anything. I just don't have the resources. I realize there is plenty available freely via the www, but I'm just not one of those people who can get into reading stories off of my pc or phone or whatever. So yeah, no manga at this point. I rate anime strictly on a 1-10 overall enjoyment level.

dude, can't even remember this conversation lmao but only watch No Longer human & Kokoro from Aoi Bungaku series. Oh & don't watch darker than black's second season

Where I originally watched it, the first half was in German. But I think you should be able to find it anime.proxer.me

I swear I was freaking laughing out loud when I saw the chandelier fall. It was like a Wile E. Coyote scene when that happened. For me, I felt like the mystery of who the mystery "dead" person was, was the only reason for me to even finish the series. And when I saw who it was and they killed her, I was like...that's it? Really? That's all it took. There was a freaking teacher who commited suicide, and sprayed blood out like a fountain, and that was the big climax?! I was so damn happy when I finished the series, I was cheering. Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni is a much better horror story for my taste.

So glad I read your Gantz review before watching the first episode just now. I can't stand when people take their precious time shooting the enemy. Definitely don't want to watch that.
