Heya, it's been a few years since we last converse.

It's probably part of the cycle of reading rather obscure manga and wanting to find someone to have a discussion. Sometimes, I can't even find manga I read listed on MAL or MangaUpdate.

Anyway, that was my introduction to her works. She's great at bringing you into her world, weaving from one perspective to another, all the while maintaining a healthy dose of humour. I hope you would enjoy it as much as me!

I read this incredible manga Kakukaku Shikajika and was rather shocked to see no one on my friend list is reading this. Actually, the first person that came to my mind who would probably enjoy this is you.

Totally! The main theme/OP gives me dat chills.
As you can see, Dornkirk is one of my favorite characters. People usually miss the amazing background and meaning of this character. It's very intelligent the fact he would be Isaac Newton.

btw, how's Blue Seed? I remember a few scenes from the TV, but I never watched a whole episode (i think so...)

The atmosphere in Escaflowne is perfect. A pacific but adventurous mecha. Just sweet.

Has the world ended yet on your side of town? Seems like you're still in one piece (or at least you were, 9 hrs ago). Anyway, I won't even bother asking so I'd just assume that watching Yawara, to you, is time well spent even in your final hours. XD Then again, I'm not all that different in that I could care less about any impending apocalypse or whatever. ;p

Q: So for a--in your own couple of words-- "sparkly melodrama", did it satisfy you as a reader?

I for one thought it was funny, even ludicrous at times, but that's just me ofc with my lack of familiarity regarding over-the-top dramas such as this. Tbh, I believe it's a lil overrated.
