Yes you are right. The relationship between his friends and bakemono is so heartwarming. If it gets a new sequel I will be very happy...Anyway, thank you for giving me the anime suggestion. I have heard about Aria before, but I always forgot to start watching it lul. I will definitly give it a try.

I can see we have a very similar favorite anime list, especially Kino no tabi and Girls' last tour. Natsume Yuujinchou was a very good series that I am planning to watch again, even though I just finished it a while ago. God we can be good friends ;D

Yeah, it's sad to see the series end, but it's nice how more people are finding the series through this. There's probably going to be a lot of people watching the original after they see the last episode of this c:
