My favorite flavor of ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough and my favorite color is red. I like reading light novels and I made a review a long time ago; might need to try doing one in the near future.
No worries about the late reply. Coming from someone whose working at an understaffed store during the holiday seasons personal time can drain up.
Sounds like you're having a better time with Soul Eater than I am. See you're seeing also Parastye. So far I'm liking the anime allot. Even my little brother, who read the manga, seems like it too. He tends to tell about the differences from the manga and the anime in after we finish an episode. His only complaint is rather minor, but apparently he really wanted to see a character eat a lion. That scene sounds awesome, but doubt it'll make it into the anime.
How's Terra Formars? Just about every time I go read a chapter of a manga called "Arachnid" both get compared for having scenes dedicated to teaching the audience about bugs. Personally I don't it in a manga, but can't imagine teaching the viewer about cockroaches being good for pacing. I also seen a couple of screen from the insane consoring for that anime. I was fine with the censoring in Tokyo Ghoul (there's always teh DVD's), but Terra Formars is another level where that would kill the mood while watching it.
I saw it's in your currently watching section. It was one of the earliest anime I saw and didn't finished it. Ten episodes in and I could get into the anime. No matter how much I though about I couldn't thing of anything that was off putting to me. I liked the characters, the art style, but that soundtrack is another story. It probably had to do that nothing about it interested me I'm planning on giving a shot to fully complete it someday.
I'm currently seeing FMA: Brotherhood and so far the early episodes are condense version of like 20 something episodes of the first series. I'm enjoying it still, but do hoping the pacing slows down so it won't feel rush in the long run.
The tone for me still feels unbalanced. Although, thankfully Mine final moments was done correctly. I'll be honest in saying I found her progression predictable, but she deserved the send off she got.
Chelsea I liked, though like Susanoo, didn't care much for them. Susanoo I liked since his whole "Magatama Manifestation" is only the second time I've seen used in any other media. It's an interesting idea of absorbing souls and using their powers. Chelsea...not as much time I wanted to spend with her. So far I'm having high hopes for the ending since it's near, but I'll wait and see. Maybe Akame will finally get some development that'll convince her name is worth being in the title.
Yeah it helped. I don't follow manga much so now I know where's the manga at a bit. If it's like the anime I might like it at first, but than stopped somewhere in the middle. Again though, I'll wait and see for the ending since good endings or even bad ones can motivate me to do anything.
Yeah the tone of Akame Ga Kill is also a big issue for me. Makes it a bit difficult to take any death seriously when a joke is made immediately afterwards. I like some of the characters (Chelsea for instance), but don't care about them. I do agree on the music. It's nothing special, but I do like the first ending theme.
How's the manga compare to the anime? The last couple of episodes really didn't do it for me. It felt like recently the anime been skipping a lot of material to get to the end quickly.
Thanks for accepting my friend request. :D Though, I couple days late in noticing it XD
How's Amagi Brilliant Park so far? I actually consider watching that before the season started, but I like to keep how many currently airing shows to a minimum. However, One Piece is an exception since it has over 600 episodes making me doubt a end will come anytime soon.
Notice one of your favorite anime is Trigun. That show is awesome. I like how it tells a serious story and isn't afraid to throw in a little humor along the way. Also, Vash was a badass character and a great shooter too.
