Just popped on to say I really enjoyed reading your review of Aku no Hana and completely agree with it! Far too many people are judging a book by its cover, in terms of the artwork. But the story, the realism, the overall creepiness and unsettled feeling, plus those beautiful backgrounds which you mentioned, really make it a great anime for me! I've fallen behind it as I've been ill and am watching a lot this season, but I plan to catch up with the latest episodes as soon as possible ^_^
Ur right Aku no Hana has the potential to become Anime of The Year without any doubt. The art may not be the best, but when one focus in the characters and the plot, that really doesn't matter, and you seem to understand that. Good review.
Yes, I judged the book by it's cover, thinking that it was worth watching, but no, I was tricked by that beautiful cover ): Went to read the manga, thinking that it would be worth reading because the art is better, but no, the story can be summarized with
Girl blackmailed boy, boy become crazy, boy and girl are both crazy people doing crazy things, boy leave other girl for this girl who blackmailed him, other girl become crazy too, and well, everyone is crazy
Hm I daresay a live action would be hell lots better than a rotoscoped anime adaption, and an anime adaption with normal art (not rotoscoped) will also be hell lots better than it is now. I do psychological, thriller, and mystery, but this.. is not worthy of it, but of course, that's just my opinion. Oh and.. episode 1, they wasted so much time on MC walking to school, I mean, what? -.-' Nice directing there /sarcasm
You're welcome^^ It does look way better than it did now :D
Oh, you do seem like a CLAMP fan (obvious from favorites but I hadn't noticed). I once went on a CLAMP-stuff watching marathon but stopped when I couldn't take Chobits to save my life. xxxHolic was quite good, though. I'm eager to read the Tsubasa Chronicles manga, though.

That would depend on whether or not you know CSS, since that's what you need to make a custom design. In terms of image editing alone, yes, it's easier - the difficulty comes of putting it together in code.
However, if you don't know CSS, you can either learn it somewhere (W3Schools is awesome for that) or use one of the templates some MAL users made available in clubs and such.
I actually learned CSS to make my list desings about two years ago, so it isn't that hard if you really want to have a distinct look from everyone else.
Hey^^ It's always nice to hear people like that.
But... do you mean the profile or the list designs? Whatever it is, though, sure - I can give you some hints on that.
I see. She's my second favorite from PMMM, but it's sad to see how most people actually dislike her. So it's very nice to find a user with Sayaka in her favorites list. Nice taste there, she's a great character^^
haha, i agree completely! sure some of their characters are similar, but they aren't the exact same! plus they're good characters, so i'd rather they recycle their old ones rather than make up new, crappy ones.
and you really should read gate 7, even though it's not got much in it so far, it's really good: the perfect balance of action scenes and slice of life.
I like your anime list, you have a lot of anime that I may plan to watch. And looks like it been a while since you had a comment so I couldn't resist to break the silence. Well just dropped by to say Hi.
