So here is my marvelously unique scoring system applied to every series in my list!
10 - 10/10
9 - 9/10
8 - 8/10
7 - 7/10
6 - 6/10
5 - 5/10
4 - 4/10
3 - 3/10
2 - 2/10
1 - 1/10
... am I doing it right? :T
Nah, but in reality, the way I view anime is by the same logic you would get graded in a subjective exam. I rate 7 a lot, simply because I won't normally purposely watch bad series or series I might not enjoy. A 6/10 is basically the minimum score I give to series I decide deserve to be completed; else I have no problem dropping, unlike a couple of people here.
Sometimes I will drop series I rated higher than a 6, but that is just the score I project I'd give it if I completed it and usually I do this because I just don't feel motivated to keep watching it, regardless of how "good" it is. It also helps me when I rate series I drop, in order for me to pick up what I felt at the moment of dropping it (if it's worth picking it back up, or to know what my opinion on it was).
I don't really believe in that whole "your average has to be 5/10" thing, unless you actually watch a helluva lot of anime. As long as you watch what you like and rate how you felt about the series, I'm good with that. People adhering to a system that doesn't represent them in order to look good in front of others fail to impress me.
What I like :
I like speaking up my mind and discovering things through communication rather than looking it up myself, especially when it's really poorly documented things. However, I usually end up making people mad when I question their beliefs, but I'm actually just curious - if you feel like I'm going too far, just know that I don't have ill intentions; I'm up for stopping whenever you want if it's too much.
I used to be a big shounen fan; though honestly the only shounen I consider good right now is Naruto, barring the fillers. Things I've noticed from watching real-life movies is that the structure is very often shounen-like when it comes to action and that's something the Japanese medium learned how to divert from... but you could always get disappointed with these guys.
Manga is definitely more interesting to me at the moment because of how easily available it is to watch/read, because of how you can choose your own pace, and because the quality of the stories is usually superior compared to anime. I started getting into manga a LOT later than anime and I found out that manga has its own charm. You instantly get attached to the characters, they feel closer to you, and you won't have the sometimes dumb anime adaptations interfering with the original work. There is just so much diversity too in manga; by only watching anime, you lose so many great series that are only in manga versions. Also, for some reason, my manga tastes are very different to my anime tastes. I actually enjoy Slice of life manga, whereas Slice of life anime has me getting impatient, for example.
I'm a pretty good anime music fan if I say so myself and listen to Japanese music. I actually have a lot of difficulty finding any band/artist outside Japan that I will love. I appreciate J-rock especially; their use of the violin in many songs touches me, and their style is particular, filled with energetic singing and energetic guitar solos or rifts! The female singers in these bands are quite special as well, since I never found anything similar in English. - Feel free to recommend me bands whenever!
What I hate :
I'm an anti-loli/harem/love-triangle/shounen-hero-cook protagonists in most series. In other words, I'm against fan service and moe. I'm more into mature-themed series : josei and seinen.
I tend to generally hate forcing myself to keep up with BS, so I easily cut contact with people that spread it... same thing goes for anime and manga, I'll drop it instead of enduring it and I'll also rate it. I know some people are against rating whatever you didn't complete, but it's my own list after all; just an indicator of my taste at that moment (it doesn't represent the whole series for me).
I really hate it when people spoil series for others openly.
I also really hate when people think they've caught on to what you're trying to say and then create this interestingly bad image of you even though they have no textual basis... I mean, in discussions, even I would be against that afterimage the person created of me...
My current anime music! (16/07/2017)
Be warned that if you start talking to me, you might be the receiver of a WALL OF TEXT! Is it because I can't condense my words well? Or because I like writing a lot? Who knows, maybe both, but that's just how I am. :T
Lately I've been sort of out of the whole watching anime thing. Whenever I look at anime, I just feel like I don't perceive it the same way I used to. I used to think anime was a really cool medium where you could see stuff you'd never see elsewhere. However, over the last few years, I have lost interest incredibly fast. I'd like to blame the whole moe/fanservice industry or the fact that I'm not really talking about it nor have many people to talk about it with anymore, but I feel like there's something more than that putting up a barrier.
It feels like I finally understand what these older people were on about when talking about cartoons since I got difficulty convincing myself that they're worth it. I've always had a big dropped list as I have no patience for stuff I won't ever enjoy. I guess every new series is a contender for my drop list as series I haven't picked up yet already are basically not even worthy of me starting them to later drop.
Good news is that I have no problem with following my weekly/monthly manga releases. Reading when you got nothing better to do is pretty easy and accessible, so I guess it has that going for it. [Update: RIP nvm now I just avoid anything Japanese tbh, I still think manga are great though even if I stopped reading.]
Here are some of the worthy music videos (MVs) that I found on MAL. Have a look, it's a short time sacrifice for more elements in your list and, obviously, you should not be dissapointed (I hope)!
No particular order here :
I didn't link any video since YouTube only has previews, but make sure to check out Nowisee! Very inspirational music and good music videos :https://myanimelist.net/anime/32633/Nowisee

After Japanzai's shutdown no group has scanlated any more chapters. These are all scanlated chapters https://archive.org/details/manga_Sasurai_Emanon
Btw, I just checked the artist's blog and a new volume came out in April. It's called Zoku Zoku Sasurai Emanon.
EDIT: Just saw your second comment. I remember it being super annoying to find the chapters in the right order when I read it years ago. It's too bad no English publisher has picked up the series.
I think I'll go down the list one by one, will take forever but I'll definitely find some great stuff! Out of that small list you sent I really liked the TTGL Op and the Noragami s2 Op, thanks for sharing! I love my list right now but its nice knowing that there are so many amazing songs out there, you cant really ever complete it
