I rate anime mostly by enjoyment, plot, characters, animation and other things do contribute some to my ratings.

Rating Criteria:

10: Masterpieces with close to zero or zero flaws and/or personal favorites. It can and probably will change your life. The best of the best, the SSS tier.

9: Great animes, very, very entertaining. Fine pieces and works of art. Very hard to critique because the positives overcome the negatives. Maybe some flaws but it doesn't affect anything.

8: Very good animes, not as much or less noticeable flaws than rating below, more entertaining, has many positives but still some negatives.

7: Good animes, entertaining, but normally has noticeable flaws that brings down the rating.

6: Alright animes, it does enough, its pleasant. Recognizable flaws and negatives that bring down the experience. Where it starts to get a bit entertaining. Doesn't do enough or tries to be a work of fictions. Its just there (which isn't bad.)

5: Mediocre animes, its meh, nothing special or valuable. It passes questionably. Can be a little entertaining. Mostly my interest I give to it is a minimum. "It insists upon itself."

4: Bad animes, flaws and things I dislike. Not very enjoyable to watch. Something is ruined throughout the experience that grants this score.

2-3: Different levels of terrible, incredibly boring to watch with lots of flaws or things that ruin the story.

1: Unbearable shows to watch, I want to squeeze my eyes out of my eye sockets.
