I don't rate my anime based on what others think. I don't review anime based on their quality in terms of writing, development, art, or sound although they certainly are factored in. This MY anime list. Therefore I use it to catalog all the anime I have watched and plan to. I rate it based on my personal enjoyment of the series. So I can look back however many years later when I have ran out of anime I want to try. This allows me to immediately find out what anime I really enjoyed and would enjoy a second-infinity times over.

My list can be used to find out what kind of anime I like or dont like. Anything 7-10 basically means its first on my list to re watch. 6 I could tolerate watching parts I still enjoyed while 1-5 is just a reverse scale of how much I hated the series.

I am not pretending to be a paid reviewer so I wont pretend to be. mal is a tool and one I plan to use to my advantage as a life filled with entertainment whenever I deem it is time to watch anime.
