Why is RWBY not allowed on the site? If Korean and Chinese anime are considered to be part of the "anime" category, then dammit, RWBY should be accepted as well!

But don't you think that underwater was a bit more bizarre than magic. It would totally seem logical to use magic if they can use the underwater concept. Magic is simply too common in anime nowadays so it doesn't seem surprising that they used it since most of the anime do this. Anyway there is no point in arguing. It's a matter of opinions. I simply don't pay mind to small things as long as they help to make the story better.

Your first point doesn't makes sense in your Nagi no Asukara review, did you really watch the series with full attention? I mean they clearly mentioned that the flame was a special one that can be used underwater. All of the mistakes you mentioned were really well described in the series.

Nice Haibane Review. You should also check out the writer's other works like Serial Experiments Lain, Texnolyze, and Digimon Tamers (He actually also did another show, but that show was a bunch of bull so not worth mentioning.
