Looks like we share some taste! ^^ I also love shojo, romance and mystery, but also drama and slice of life in general. On top of that, I'm fond of older animation as well, as it's mostly what I grew up with.

I like the Nana theme! It's among my most anticipated shows. I have heard good things about it, not to mention I've been fond of the director's other works Gunslinger Girls, Cardcaptor Sakura, and especially Chihayafuru.
Out of your favourites, I'm also looking forward a lot to Great Teacher Onizuka and the His and Her Circumstances manga (I've only seen the anime). The latter is out of print here, and I am thinking about going on the hunt for it!
