I absolutely despise scoring intellectual properties, I think it's a pointless endeavour that oversimplifies complex opinions, but since I have no time to write a two page review about every single anime I watch, a general metric could prove to be useful as a represantation of my expreience with a given work.
10 - My all time favourites, these are the glimmering pieces of brilliance that I consider "perfect", as in there is nothing that I'd want to change about them.
9 - I found these ones extremely enjoyable, but certain aspects were not to my taste. Excellent entertainment nonetheless.
8 - These animes had interesting ideas and they were able to deliver, but they did not manage to blow my expectations away.
7 - They had potential to be something really good, but the execution could not live up to the premise.
6 - There a few attempts to break through the wall of mediocrity, but it was nothing worth noticing.
5 - The middle ground, these animes do nothing that would lift them above the rest, but at least they are not failing to deliver the bare minimum.
4 - One or more aspects were subpar, they were rather dull and uninteresting to watch.
3 - Grating and tiring animes that are more flaws than working ideas.
2 - More or less technically functional works without anything that resembles entertaining in them.
1 - Animes with no redeeming qualities, watching them makes me lose all hope in this industry.
Of course, my opinion is purely subjective, think of it as a form of recommendation, nothing more.
