Dang I havent commented on here in a year. I had a bunch of covid related jobs( covid testing, grocery) and burnt out and did not feel like getting on here. Hope your life is good! Im mostly using twitter these days for anime related stuff. Forums are kind of dead.

I graduated May 2019, Tried to get into a college job through a temp job at a college, covid hit, worked at a grocery store till 2021, Got a job as a covid healther screener. That is about it. Cycled around a bit, watched the new arslan anime( like the 90s one).

Trying to wrap up college, and Hike I guess. Maybe in 2019.

I guess I am busy with dishes and stuff at work. I just really don't get on MAL anymore. No reason to get on.

Thanks for your comment. Robotech was a gateway to a new world for me. A Robotech comic book opened the opportunity of pen pals, and one of them was a hard core raw anime fan who introduced me to the real thing.
Over the decades, I found my own genres that I liked best. I tend toward realism and a Japanese setting. But some stories are so good that they transcend these requirements. Violet Evergarden and One Piece are such examples.
Anime is worthy of my investment in a good home theater. It's the one reason I fire up the big Sony 4K projector.

Nothing too new with me worked at a buffet, finished that intern in 2017, still in SAR, don't watch much anime atm, Sis turned 21, Graduating Spring 2019, crashed a car( was minor).

Well I just volunteered for 3 months, I am crossing my fingers it can be a carrier, it pays bad( 29k), and its not permanent so who knows.

So the summer went good. Basically My day of volunteering would consist of a staff meeting around 8AM( mostly complaining about visitors and nature ethics and what went wrong and right the previous day) Then wed clean the restrooms and such, fill up water containers, and make our way to the contact station( area where viistors pay money) Id then walk 1.5 miles to the top and stand in the cave where the american indian ruins were or stand at the botttom and tell people what they can and cant do. First time ever living in a trailer could talk about that but its quite boring. Had to make a 1.5 hour drive into town for groceries on the weekends. For a long while most of the volunteers were lets see, 47, 60, 60s, 71, so I was youngesy by far. Now I have no problem with people older than myself, but when your out there for 3 months and everyones got so many more life skills than you it really shows. So was treated like a kid a bit more than Id like to have been treated. Good experience over-all, it was pretty hard, felt like a real job. Currently back at college, waiting for books, and dealing with a new, but welcomed type of stress. lol.
