Report ayase-'s Profile

In terms of on-line activity, other than MAL I am a regular poster at Anime UK News where I also go by ayase. My personal blog can be found here, though I imagine it will rarely be anime related. I take my online moniker from the eternally wandering character from my favourite Manga, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō, as while I'm not particularly in a position to do so at the moment, I do love travelling and am quite a solitary person. However I do like and will make the attempt to converse with anyone who has interesting things to say, be it about anime, manga or anything else.

I am currently twenty-four, as old, to the day as the Dirty Pair TV series which also works as a pretty good indication of where my tastes in Anime lie (mid to late 80's - early 90's stuff). I am prone to liking an eclectic mixture of things, I love peace and tranquillity as well as frenetic insanity but my absolute favourites tend to be thoughtful things with a good amount of depth to them. Some might call some of my favourites pretentious and I might even be willing to admit that they are, but I still love them, pretension and all. :P
