With the exception of Clannad/Kanon, those are all pretty different anime.
Well, for Sword Art Online you can read my review. It just does so many things wrong that can't be ignored. Guilty Crown is in a similar vein, but with different presentation. It's much more obvious in what it's trying to do but falls flat on its face just as well, and was on ice from the start anyway. It feels like it was a written by a middle schooler who liked Code Geass. Also, Inori is a different character in every episode. I'm pretty sure it's just a pretty advertisement for Supercell.
LOL Okay okay, I will keep my impulsive behaviour in check the next time I feel like changing my name =D Can't guarantee anything though!
Oreimo has gotten soooo long that I read most of the light novels and spoiled the anime ending for me xD It is surely an anime that will get a lot of fans happy (or rage depending on which character you are rooting for).
Attack on Titans is a though one. It goes soooooooooo slow like in the manga where it originated from. The story may one day be super duper good, but for the time being, I find it too slow for my taste. I'm starting to rate it lower and lower by the episode lol. So yeah, waiting until the series is done is likely the best choice.
Sakurasou no pet na kanojo was one of those shows that I had on my list of shows that I planned to put on my ptw list... then I forgot them about them completely LOL Keep me updated on the show once you get further in. I will likely consider it watching it at some point :D
Speaking of rushed endings, I didn't like the UxU ending much either. It was horribly rushed with many characters not well developed. Though the art works are all very nice in all the stories.
I was only lukewarm towards to the original Eureka Seven series at most, so I didn't even bother with AO (or the movie). Glad I didn't waste my time LOL
Mmmm I would recommend trying OreImo second season? Other than that, Attack on Titans is also one that you should keep a close, VERY close, eye on :) I also find Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru. a good watch so far. Let me know if you're up for them (or if you want to watch something older).
I started Medaka Box when it was in its first volume, but then I didn't bother to keep track of it on a weekly basis and soon I left it behind. As for Good Ending, I was waiting for it to finish (which it did), so I guess I'll start reading it very soon :)
That's good to hear man. Nothing more rewarding than working in your field after finishing school. Especially so quickly. A lot of people struggle for years before gaining a foothold.
I liked the way Accel World did the protagonist. To be honest, I didn't even heed him much attention. I think that's what made Accel World good in my eyes. I watched it for the Brain Burst world that kept getting more and more interesting as it grew. The more you found out about Brain Burst the more you liked it, but it also lead to more questions.
Well, I don't know how good my recommendation of Fairy Tail will be. You have to like manga such as One Piece to like Fairy Tail. They're done in the same vein, by authors who worked as assistants to the author of Dragonball.
I'm usually bad with recommendations so I'm surprised Bakuman turned out well for ya. :P
Bakuman was really good, though it seemed like a rush end. I really liked it, but I wish it was still going. :P
I haven't read either, and I haven't watched Sword Art Online, but I did see Another. I thought it Another was really good. Had a sort of darkness to it, but in a good way. Had a good ending as well. Not sure if it followed the manga closely at all, but it was okay.
You should see Accel World if you haven't already. I believe same author as Sword Art Online as I keep hearing they are linked and have parodies of each other. I liked Accel World, it was a real interesting story.
I'm depressed about Fairy Tail though. I really enjoyed the anime and was staying away from the manga before the anime ended on a break since it's too close to the manga. Forced me to go ahead and read the manga.
Long LOOONG time indeed (though we have each other on FB so it's not like we can't keep in touch).
UxU's ending was kinda crap in my opinion. The only Im Dal Young's manga I'm following right now is Freezing, though I kinda get the impression that he's trying to work on more things than he can cover (typical Korean fashion). Phantom King is suppose to be one of his big selling tool, hope he doesn't mess it up xD
SAO was indeed a good adaptation (though some of the novel readers will tell you otherwise). Really looking forward to a season 2 (just a matter of time).
